PROVEN

The FS-15 has been developed and refined in some of the most extreme conditions possible. HJC rider Ben Spies has tested the FS-15 in multiple AMA Superbike and MotoGP races.

The FS-15 utilizes the “RapidFire™” HJ-09 shield system. This easy to use tool-less gives you proven reliability and multiple optional shields and accessories to choose from.

[A] SHELL STRUCTURE – 2 EXCEPTIONAL OPTIONS
The FS-15 is available in two shell options, (1) an Advanced Composite Material (fiberglass/Spectra®) construction, (2) a full application Carbon Fiber shell, both shells meet or exceeds SNELL and DOT standards.

Overall shell profile was specifically designed and wind tunnel tested to reduce turbulence and drag, increasing ventilation efficiency an offering an even more quiet ride. Precise CAD designed, injection molded, multiple density impact absorbing EPS sculpture.

*Spectra® is a superstrong polyethylene fiber that offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight. It is up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40 times stronger than aramid fibers, both on weight to weight basis. Spectra® is extremely durable and resistant to moisture, UV light and chemicals. The applications therefore are more or less unlimited including bullet resistant armor and clothing for police and military personnel.

* Carbon Fiber is lightweight, strong and durable, a true 21st century high technology material. Due to this materials excellent characteristics such as low specific gravity, exquisite mechanical properties and high specific tensile strength, this material is used heavily in modern aeronautical construction and other high performance equipment.

[B] 4 th GENERATION ACS VENTILATION SYSTEM
“ACS” Advanced Channeling Ventilation System includes an integrated front to back flow through system. Raised air channels combined with two forward intake vents and aerodynamic exhaust rear spoiler create full front to back airflow flushing heat and humidity up and out of the helmet. Adjustable chin vent re-directs air upwards and across the shield interior keeping moisture out of the face shield area.

[C] 2-STAGE COMPRESSION SHIELD CLOSURE SYSTEM
2nd generation, 2-stage compression shield closure system. A 2-stage pivot mechanism, compresses the shield into the eye port gasket, providing an extremely secure seal. Aero-dynamic flush mounted fit for reduced turbulence noise. Anti-Scratch, hard coated 3D shield. Improved, no guess work, tool-less shield removal and installation. Optically correct 3D design. Shield rated to block 95% of UV radiation. Optional mirrored – RST, high definition (amber), smoke, and tear off shields available.

PINLOCK® FACESHIELD
The FS-15 comes with a PINLOCK® shield already installed and ready to go. Choose from 5 different PINLOCK® inserts for the ultimate anti-fog system.

OPTIONAL PINLOCK® INSERTS
PINLOCK® inserts are created out of moisture absorbing plastic. The silicone seal on the PINLOCK® creates an air tight double visor. These two features make PINLOCK® the best fog resistant system there is. You can keep your visor closed and see everything! Available in Clear (normal use), Light Smoke (sunny weather), Yellow (high contrast vision), Dark Smoke (intense sunshine), and High Definition Orange (all weather).

AGGRESSIVE REAR SPOILER
In addition to track proven input from Ben Spies, the FS-15 has been put through a barrage of tests in HJC's own wind tunnel. Ensuring maximum aerodynamic effect for dramatically reduced turbulence and increased stability at speed.

[D] INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION
The FS-15 features the most advanced interior comfort padding on the market with its revolutionary SilverCool™ heat and humidity dissipating system. Additional features included easily removable liner and cheek pad design for cleaning and drying. Streamline, wrap-around neck roll reduces wind noise and comfortable padded chin strap design and nylon strap retention snap neatly secures excess chin strap flap.
